  • A Byzantine Mosaic Panel
  • 75 1/2 by 40 1/2 in. 191.7 by 102.9 cm
depicting a partridge facing right next to a flower and a tall pear tree laden with fruits, the tesserae in shades of salmon pink, green, blue, gray, and orange yellow on a white ground, the tree trunk finely shaded.
