The Keystone Collection: From La La’s to La Mission to La Serra

The sale opens with 99 consecutive lots of Guigal, beginning with a triad of towering verticals from La Mouline, La Landonne &amp; La Turque. Spanning four decades, the La La’s appear in case quantity with depth in modern greats 2000, 2005, 2009 and 2010 and notable highlights including full cases of 1991 La Mouline, 1983 La Landonne and 1990 La Turque.

The La La’s: Icons of Côte Rôtie

The sale contains broad swaths of Bordeaux with iconic properties represented in each of the major communes. St. Estèphe is represented in Château Montrose and Château Cos d'Estournel offered in two and three decades, respectively. Pauillac follows with the mighty Latour alongside twin greats Pichon Lalande and Pichon Baron spanning 1982 to 2016. St. Julien and Margaux are represented in the wines of Ducru-Beaucaillou and Palmer, with the legendary Pessac estate, La Mission Haut Brion, to follow. Pomerol takes the sale to the Right Bank and is led by Lafleur dating back to 1979 and Vieux Château Certan in a trio of modern greats - 2005, 2009 and 2010. St. Emilion brings this Bordeaux offering to a close with Angélus and Cheval blanc leading the way in bottles and magnums.

The 2005 vintage in Bordeaux is one of tremendous concentration, power and aging potential. In this sale it is represented in the great estates of both the Left and Right banks and in parcel quantities.

Piedmont legends Gaja and Giacosa are represented across Barolo and Barbaresco, spanning vintages 2004 - 2013 and appearing in bottles and magnums. Conterno, Voerzio, Ceretto and more follow in verticals dating back to the famed 1997 vintage.
