S otheby’s will be at The Gritti Palace from 9–12 May for a week of exclusive events to mark the 57th Venice Art Biennale.
The 57th International Art Exhibition, titled VIVA ARTE VIVA and curated by Christine Macel, is organised by La Biennale di Venezia and chaired by Paolo Baratta.
The exhibition opens to the public from Saturday 13 May until Sunday 26 November at the Giardini and the Arsenale venues, with previews taking place from 10–12 May and the awards ceremony and inauguration on Saturday 13 May.
The VIVA ARTE VIVA exhibition features 120 invited artists from 51 countries with 103 of these participating for the first time.
