S otheby’s New York marquee summer sale series will be held on 29 June at 6:30 PM EDT in a dynamic new auction format. Sotheby’s auctioneer Oliver Barker will be in London with Sotheby’s specialists in New York, Hong Kong and London taking bids in multiple languages via video live and in real time. You may watch the livestream of the sales on Sothebys.com or the Sotheby’s App, beginning at 6:20 PM EDT. Hang Art on Your Walls with AR Technology

H ow will a painting look hanging in your home? With the newly launched augmented reality (AR) feature for Sotheby’s iOS app, you can view an artwork in your home alongside your existing collection before placing a bid. The AR function maps to your wall and furniture, and displays a high resolution image of the work that is true to its unframed dimensions, presenting the perfect opportunity to “live” with a work before you buy it.
