D uring the 2017 Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris, Sotheby’s France is delighted to present three private collections of fine furniture, paintings and works of art: the Collection of Prince Marc de Beauvau-Craon; a collection of fine 18th-century French decorative arts called L’Élégance Intemporelle; and an Italian collection illustrating the deep artistic bonds between France and Italy. All three collections will be exhibited at the Galerie Charpentier from 10 to 13 September.
At the same time, at the Galerie Aveline, Sotheby’s will exhibit highlights from the Jacques Grange collection alongside African, Oceanic, Pre-Columbian, and American Indian Art from the Edwin and Cherie Silver collection, to be sold in New York, and African and Oceanic Art pieces from our Paris December sale.
