Yasmeen Gailani

Yasmeen Gailani was born in London and has spent the majority of her life in Muscat, Oman before moving to Dubai in 2015. With an educational background in Middle Eastern Studies and International Development, Ms. Gailani is fluent in Farsi, English and German. Ms. Gailani has in-depth knowledge of the market and contacts in the region, with 5+ years of experience cultivating cross-category art at Sotheby’s. Liaising and managing a vital network of priority clients, as well as developing Sotheby’s UAE client book with a focus on nurturing a new generation of young collectors. Ms. Gailani has also played an integral role in developing a comprehensive calendar of events to build on Sotheby’s travelling exhibitions across the region, including educational lecture series, workshops, collector dinners and specialist tours.
