Xibo Wang

Xibo brings with him over a decade of experience within the auction industry. Prior to joining Sotheby’s, Xibo joined Bonhams in 2010. After establishing the company's office in Beijing, he moved to Hong Kong where he became the Head of the Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art department and spearheaded many successful sales, including Masterpieces of Yixing Stoneware from the Mr & Mrs Jimmy Sha Collection; The Feng Wen Tang Collection of Early Chinese Ceramics and the Sze Yuan Tang Collection of Chinese Jades, where multiple world records were achieved for archaic jades.

Xibo holds a PhD degree in Museology and Archaeology from the Yunnan University and a Master’s degree in the History of Art and Archaeology from the University of London.
