After graduating from the Sorbonne and the Ecole du Louvre, Pierre Mollfulleda joined Sotheby’s in 2016, leaving behind his previous position at the gallery of Jean-Baptiste Bacquart.
During these last four years at Sotheby’s, Pierre has played an instrumental role in the promotion of prestigious collections such as The Malcom Collection, the Comtesse de Witt Collection or the Superb collection of Marceau Riviere which sold for 11.6 M in June 2019.
With an expertise in Oceanic Art, he has equally contributed to the discovery of unique masterpieces of the field, such as the Chief’s Stool, Rurutu in 2016 (1M€) or the Eastern Island Rapa Dance Paddles in 2017 (3.9M€), and has been key to the first auction dedicated exclusively to Oceanic Art, Oceania in December 2019.
