Olga Nikitina is an Assistant Vice President, Senior Account Manager, in the Valuations department at Sotheby’s. She works with collectors and fiduciaries, managing complex valuations for the purposes of sale, estate planning, charitable contribution, collateral loan, government indemnity and insurance.
Olga started her career at Sotheby’s in 2016, serving as the Head of Inventory Management in Operations, where she oversaw strategic initiatives in New York, Europe and Asia. Before joining Sotheby’s, Olga was an art advisor to a prominent collector in New York, managing an important collection of Modern and Contemporary Art, she also worked as a business advisor at PwC.
Olga holds a Master’s degree in the History of Art and the Art Market: Modern and Contemporary Art from Christie’s Education in New York and a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the National University of Science and Technology in Moscow. She also studied at New York University and the Appraisers Association of America and has successfully completed the coursework and examination in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
