Biography
Lucila Portoraro joined Sotheby’s Canada in 1994. As Assistant Vice President and Manager of Business Development, Lucila is responsible for developing relationships with collectors, advisors and institutions throughout Canada. Her primary role is assisting collectors looking to acquire or divest of important works of art and acting as their liaison with Sotheby’s specialists in Impressionist and Modern Art, Contemporary Art, Chinese Art, Old Master Paintings, Jewellery and other collecting categories. Lucila assists clients consigning their art to auctions in Sotheby’s salesrooms in New York, London, Geneva, Paris and Hong Kong, and facilitates private sales.
Lucila holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Art History from the University of Toronto.
