Julia Fischel

Julia Fischel joined Sotheby’s in 2017 from a leading commercial gallery in London specialising in the 20^th Century British Art. At the gallery Julia authored a number of publications, including on Euan Uglow, William Coldstream, John Armstrong, Peter Coker and Post-War Abstraction in Britain. Since joining Sotheby’s Julia has been involved with single-owner sales including ‘A Private View: Property from the Country Home of Christopher Cone and Stanley J. Seeger’ and ‘The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street’.

Julia read History of Art at Queens’ College, Cambridge before undertaking a Masters at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, focusing on Post-War British and American art.
