Eliza McCormack joined Sotheby’s Ireland in 2012 after four years with Christie’s London. Whilst there she was a key member of the Valuations department and involved in a variety of multi-purpose, location and category projects and valuations.
Prior to this she worked with the National Gallery of Ireland in their Education department, providing bespoke talks on the collection and as the NGI Tours Co-Ordinator.
Since joining Sotheby’s she has been instrumental on the administration of many successful sales, including Yeats: The Family Collection and the 2018 sale of the Property from the Joseph & Brenda Calihan Collection. With her varied involvement and in-depth knowledge of the art and auction world, her role as Client Developer provides a local liaison and experienced contact for all clients.
Eliza has a Masters in History of Art from University College Dublin.
