Sotheby's 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective sale showcases modern and contemporary works from Central and Eastern Europe. This season, we are delighted to be offering a seminal conceptual painting by Croatian Modernist Josip Vaništa, as well as works by Czech modern painters Mikuláš Medek, František Kupka and an important group of collages by Jiří Kolář, formerly in the collection of Mr &amp; Mrs Erik Estorick, which were included in the 1975 Jiří Kolář exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. The auction also includes paintings by Bolesław Biegas, Ivan Marchuk, Fedot Sychkov and Alekos Fassianos, amongst others.
