A Legacy of Beauty: The Collection of Sydell Miller

In 2001 Sydell Miller commissioned a large suite of mirrors, chandeliers, sconces and étagères from Claude Lalanne to adorn an elaborate Lady's Powder Room. Each of these works - unique in form and adorned with lyrical "Oiseaux" (birds) and "Papillons" (butterflies) - make their exciting debut at auction. These sculptural and lyrical pieces illustrate Lalanne's exceptional ability to craft elegance from bronze.
