Auction Highlights 

The interest in the art of the 1950s is reflected in this coherent Private Collection. It includes three works by Alberto Burri, which tell of the investigation into materials that the artist explored with mastery and intensity. More lyrical but no less full of meaning, the pictorial gestures of Afro and Hartung. The works of these artists illustrate the evolutions which, starting from those contortions of materia of which Burri was the precursor, led to the momentum of the Sixties.
