Modern & Contemporary Day Auction 3 March 2022 • 12:00 PM GMT • London

T he inaugural Modern & Contemporary Day Auction from Sotheby’s, London presents the magnificent and multifaceted spirit of creativity from the late 19th century through to the present day. Capturing the manifold ways in which the artists dare to challenge established norms, we will be offering exceptional works from artists including Claude Monet, Berthe Morisot, Amedeo Modigliani, Leonor Fini, Banksy, Damien Hirst, Alexander Calder, George Condo and Shara Hughes.

We are also delighted to present a selection of works by Pablo Picasso from the collection of the artist’s granddaughter, Marina Picasso, including some rare works from the artist’s celebrated Cubist years. After the great success of Physical/Digital: A Modern Diptych in our October Auction we have invited ThankYouX to curate a selection of NFT works by exciting new artists such as Fvckrender and Reo.
