n 21 May 2022 at Sotheby’s in New York, wine collectors will have the unprecedented opportunity to bid on a very rare selection of bottles from the personal cellars of Prince Robert of Luxembourg, his family and his friends. The proceeds will benefit The PolG Foundation, a United States Public Charity, close to the heart of Prince Robert, his wife Princess Julie and their family.

The wines in this sale were inspected in Bordeaux by a team of Sotheby’s specialists in March 2022, unless otherwise noted.
SHIPPING
Following inspection, the wines were shipped via air freight to the Sotheby’s East Coast warehouse.
PROVENANCE AND STORAGE
All but a few of the wines donated by H.R.H. Prince Robert de Luxembourg and Family have never left Bordeaux. These wines are denoted by a special symbol (“·“) next to each lot number in the print catalogue and under "Provenance" in the online catalogue.
