This August, "Modern Discoveries" presented by Sotheby’s Asia brings together a great collection of works of different mediums by masters from a span of pivotal modern art movements. Notable highlights of the sale include an exquisite wooden sculpture by Ju Ming, oil paintings by André Brasilier, Chuang Che, Wucius Wong and Theo Meier. An extraordinary selection of printed works by Wu Guanzhong, Zao Wou-Ki, Sanyu and Walasse Ting, alongside works on paper by Georges Mathieu, Dong Kingman and Adrien Jean Le Mayeur de Merprès. In addition, there are also an array of works by Arifien Neif, Cheng Tsai-Tung and Wang Pan-Youn, completing the multifaceted collection of art from across the vast regions of Asia, Europe and beyond.
