The famous glass grand piano, his favourite musical instrument, became his trademark and accompanied him at many of his performances. At the launch of his album ‘Traumtänzer’ in 1983, for example, Udo Jürgens sat down on a Plexiglas grand piano on the Jungfraujoch, 3454 metres above sea level in the Swiss Alps.

Udo Jürgens' reputation as one of the greatest performing artists is unrivalled. In a career spanning over 60 years, he composed more than 1,000 songs and sold 105 million records. A legendary Singer, Composer & Producer

Since a concert in Hamburg in 1969, Udo Jürgens has performed all his encores sitting at the piano, unplugged, always in a terrycloth classic - his white bathrobe. Among the sale highlights is a white Adidas personalised towelling hooded dressing gown signed by German Footballers, as well as a Mercedes and a Bentley and further typical objects which accompanied him throughout his life.
