Description

NIKE, NIKE DUNK LOW PRO SB, SIZE 9

Rubber, Leather, Cotton, Synthetic, Linen

2005

In 2006, Nike released the Dunk Low Pro SB 'Eire' to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Easter Rising. The shoe is a nod to Irish culture and heritage, and the colors of the Irish flag inspire its design.

The pair features a white suede upper with green linen overlays, giving it a clean and classic look. The deep orange suede Swoosh provides a bold contrast to the otherwise muted colorway. The lateral heel of the shoe features an Irish harp motif, which is Ireland's heraldic emblem and a symbol of its rich cultural heritage. The heel tab of the shoe is embroidered with the Gaelic word for Ireland, "Éire".

This unusual sample features subtle differences compared to the general release. On this pair, the heel tab reads: “Eire”, as opposed to “Éire”. The harp motif on the heel is also different than the one featured on the wider release.

Samples are sneakers made by the manufacturer either for promotional purposes or for testing various aspects of a design. They are far rarer than the general release pairs.
