IWC Schaffhausen’s "Le Petit Prince" collection pays tribute to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's beloved children's book, The Little Prince, while also celebrating the author’s legacy as a pilot, in keeping with IWC’s tradition of aviation-inspired timepieces.
As a partner of the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation, IWC is dedicated to supporting children and young people facing adversity. This collaboration has led to the creation of several limited edition models featuring The Little Prince, such as the Ref IW5010-02, which was introduced in 2018.
The watch features a stainless steel case and a striking blue sunburst dial. The power reserve display is located at 3 o’clock, while the date window appears at 6 o’clock, and a center seconds hand ensures precision—essential for any aviation watch. The case back includes a special engraving of the little prince, complete with his cape and sword, as a tribute to the timeless story.
