A representative of the School of Dresden, Kurt Gasch was awarded the Schmidt-Michelsen Prize given out by the Royal Academy of Arts in Berlin in 1911 and was endowed 1500 Mark for study purposes. Gasch was represented by the Kunsthandlung Max Sinz in Dresden who last exihibited his work during the Christmas of 1922.
