Description
Set with a round brilliant-cut fancy vivid yellow diamond weighing 67.20 carats, pavé-set with pear-shaped, oval and brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold, size 6.
Accompanied by GIA report no. 6223716005, dated 3 April 2023, stating that the diamond is Fancy Vivid Yellow, Natural Colour, VVS2 Clarity.Further accompanied by a separate monograph expressing the rarity and the characteristics of the stone, as well as a letter stating that ‘The 67.20 carat is cut as a standard round brilliant and was manufactured from a 141.58 carat rough crystal. It is very unusual that large round diamonds result in a Fancy Vivid grade. The clarity grade is VVS2 and the polish and symmetry are both "Excellent, adding to the rarity.” Not only did this diamond achieve this grade, but it is the largest Fancy Vivid Yellow Round Brilliant cut diamond that the laboratory has graded.’

This remarkable gemstone's vibrant yellow hue beautifully echoes the imagery found in the Great Hymn to the Aten, a profound text that extols the sun's vital role in the cosmos. The diamond’s luminous colour not only mirrors the sun's radiance but also symbolises renewal and new beginnings, akin to the daily rebirth of the sun at dawn. In this context, The Aten serves as a metaphorical embodiment of the sun, reinforcing the notion of light as a transformative force.
