See two jade beads from the Xinglongwa culture with similar forms as the beads in the present lot, and adapted the related techniques on polishing and cutting, in the Institue of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, published in Gu Fang, The Complete Collection of Jades Unearthed in China, Beijing, 2005, vol. 2, p. 13. 青玉質，頗通透，玉管長短不一，兩端斜坡截面，孔對穿。

內蒙古自治區文物考古研究所藏兩件興隆窪文化玉管，形制、打磨以及切料方式與本件頗似，見《中國出土玉器全集》，北京，2005年，卷2，頁13。内蒙古巴林右旗1997年出土两件興隆窪文化玉管亦資參考，開孔方式與形制與本組近似，見袁永明撰，《巴林右旗洪格力圖墓葬出土玉器年代的再認識》，載於《內蒙古文物考古》，2005年，第2期，頁56至59。
