LETTER SIGNED, TO FERDINAND II ("TO MY GOOD BROTHER THE KING OF THE KINGDOM OF THE TWO SICILIES")


with autograph postscript ("Sir My Brother | Your Majesty's | Good Sister"), announcing the birth of her son Albert, Prince of Wales ("...The Almighty having in His infinite goodness, been pleased to grant Me a Prince..."), 1 page, 4to, integral blank, Buckingham Palace, 30 November 1841 


A rare personal letter between the two monarchs confirming their close relationship ("...I am convinced that Your Majesty will manifest towards me on this joyful occasion, the same interest which I invariably taken in all that concerns Your Majesty's Person and Family..."), and the Queen's affection ("...I avail Myself of the present opportunity to renew to Your Majesty the assurances of the sincere attachment and high consideration...")
