A Kirman silk rug, Southeast Persia, last quarter 19th century


the indigo field with a small ivory flowerhead medallion, overall vinery and palmettes, indigo flower and cypress tree border, within one inner and three outer guard stripes, with an inscription cartouche, reading: order number 921

approximately 221 by 140 cm
