Vintage NASA “Red Number” chromogenic color photograph, 10 by 8 inches, “A Kodak Paper” watermark, press captions printed in purple to verso. NASA image ID “NASA S-67-43593” printed in upper left margin in red.


A photograph of the Apollo Saturn 501 launch vehicle mated to the Apollo spacecraft 017 on Launch Complex 39A. The fully assembled vehicle was transported to the launch complex on the crawler. It took a total of 9 hours and 55 minutes for the crawler to move the Apollo 4 stack from the Vehicle Assembly Building to Pad A—a distance of three and a half miles.
