Vintage NASA “Red Number” chromogenic color photograph, 10 by 8 inches, “A Kodak Paper” watermark, press captions printed in purple to verso. NASA image ID “NASA AS14-66-9306” printed in upper left margin in red; minor toning, two small pieces of tape to upper margin.


A front view of the Apollo 14 LM, which reflects a circular flare caused by the brilliant sun. According to Alan Shepard and Ed Mitchell, the striking sphere of light had a jewel-like appearance.
