AN AMERICAN BRONZE SABBATH CANDELABRUM AND BRASS MEMORIAL LIGHT, LUDWIG WOLPERT, NEW YORK, CIRCA 1965


the first composed of welded bronze strips forming the Hebrew blessing "Come, let us exult before the Lord, shout for the joy of our salvation'" and fitted with three candle sockets; the second fitted with a glass memorial candle liner and pierced with Hebrew Proverbs inscription, "The soul of man is the lamp of God"

the candelabrum marked on tallest letter "Wolpert," the memorial light marked 'The Tobe Pascher Workshop, Jewish Museum, Wolpert'
