Rolex celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Submariner in 2003 with the launch of a special variant of the reference 16610. The reference 16610LV, LV standing for Lunette Verte / Green Bezel, differs from the conventional model in its bezel color and was quickly nicknamed 'Kermit' by Rolex collectors.
After 7 years, the 16610LV was eventually discontinued and replaced by the Hulk. Since then, the appeal and collectability of the neo-vintage Kermit has been continuously growing, making this full set and well-preserved piece particularly attractive.
