The Nautilus dominates the watch market in terms of popularity and has broken auction records and reached unprecedented heights in recent years. The Nautilus was the first luxury sport watch made by Patek Philippe and was created by the renowned Gerald Genta. The reference 3800, together with the references 3700 and 4700, served as the collection's original pillars.
The reference 3800 was made available in a variety of metals, dials, and movement combinations, however most people are known with the version with the blue dial and stainless steel case. With the majority produced are with blue dials, the white dials give a bland appealing charm and are difficult to find in the market. In excellent shape and has uniformly spaced tropical bright markings, the current watch ticks all the boxes for a fine vintage timepiece.
