Invented by Jean-Léon Reutter in 1928, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos clock is an exceptional fusion of technical knowledge and utility. The capsule behind the movement is expanding and contracting depending on temperature changes and a difference of only one degree is enough to power the clock for up to two days. Thanks to this very convenient mechanism, an Atmos clock can run continuously under normal household conditions and needs only very little maintenance.
