Cartier is known to release special editions for important occasions, the present watch belongs to one of them, introduced in 1999 to celebrate the handover of Macau to China from Portugal. Not only is it the well acclaimed Asymètrique model, it features an additional "9" at 9 o'clock on the dial to signify this important year. The 9P2 movement is exhibited through the case back, along with the limited number and "Macau" engraving next to it. The present watch is very attractive and retains its box and papers.
