A tribute to the past, Hodinkee and Vacheron Constantin collaborated in 2017 to produce the Historiques Cornes de Vache 1955 chronograph, based on the reference 6087 from 1955. It was a wide success which lead to the present 5000H. The calibre 1142 beating within is based on the legendary movement Lemania 2310. The present watch is cased in steel, features a silvered dial with tachymetre and Cornes de Vache lugs, meaning cow horns - everything the collector loves for a classic dress watch.
