French Revolution--Comité de salut public
Seven items, including Antoine Louis de Saint-Juste (1767-1794), and Lazare Nicholas Carnot (1753-1823), comprising:
i) A letter signed to the Minister of War conveying a letter from a Brigadier in the Briançonnais, stating that a battalion of Chasseurs is unsuitable, as they lack arms or training and are mainly composed of deserters, one page, folio, Paris, le 14 Ventose, 2e annee [4 march 1794], annotated in a different hand in left margin
ii) A requisition, signed by Collot d'Herbois, Billaud Varenne, Carnot and Lindet, requiring with reference to the Decree of 27 Germinal [16 April] that Guyot Laval, Liquidator of the National Treasure, shall be kept in his present post, printed with manuscript insertations, one page, 4to, 6 floreal l’an deuxième [25 April 1794]
iii-iv) Two letters by Jean Laubert Tallien to the Administrators of Post and Letters, entreating them to expedite a trunk and to Emmanuel Joseph Sieyes, referring to certain correspondence, 2 pages, 4to
v) A decree of the Comité de Sureté Generale et de Surveillance for the arrest of 'Citoyenne Egalite' (the Duchess of Orelans), one page, folio, 14 November 1793
vi-vii) An excerpt of a report by the Comité discussing a passport for Citoyen Chatelet, and another letter
