i-iii) Jean Pierre Brissot de Warville, two autograph letters signed, and a signed receipt: the first letter to the Comité de Salut Public, asking for his letter to be read aloud to the Assembly, protesting his innocence, and requesting that wife be permitted to visit him, 2 pages, 8vo, De l’Abbaie, 21 June 1793; the second letter discussing the King’s procurator and about a case at La Chatelet, 1 page, 8vo, n.d.; the receipt being for money returned to him along with his coat on bail from the Bastille, 1 page, 12 July 1784
iv) Armand Gensonne, autograph address about war and other matters, 13 pages, folio
v) Chretien Guillaume de Lamoignon de Malesherbes, autograph letter signed to M. de Ségur, French Minister at St Petersburg, acknowledging his kindness to M. and Mme. Du Clerq and their friends, and enlisting further protection for them, 2 pages, 4to, Paris, 9 September 1785
vi) William Petty, 2nd Earl of Shelburne, letter signed, to Malesherbes, referring to M. de Sarsfeldt, 4 pages, 4to, Bowood Park, 20 July 1775
