Sugata [configuration]: Shinogi-zukuri, very shallow tori-zori almost mu-zoriiori-munechu-kissaki

Kitae [forging pattern]: Muji-hada

Hamon [tempering pattern]: Gunome midare with long yakidashi, some ashi

Boshi [tip]: Ko-maru with kaeri

Nakago [tang]: Ubukengyo-jiri, osujikai yasuri, with one mekugi-ana, the katana-mei signed Iga no kami Fujiwara Sadatsugu 

Habaki [collar]: Silver

Koshirae [mount]: The koshirae of red and black lacquer, with fuchi-kashira and menuki, green ito, iron mokko-gata tsuba

Nagasa [length from kissaki to machi]: 75.2 cm., 29⅝ in.
