inscribed by Keith Haring on the reverse of the frame: This is the drawing Jean gave me for the Xerox catalog which accompanied the first exhibition I held at Club 57./ It was called "The First Annual Club 57 Invitational" He brought this drawing crumpled up in his pocket and the painting rolled (sort-of) under his arm.
