The Vacheron Constantin Reference 4083 stands as one of the most elusive models in the brand's history. Introduced in the late 1930s, it was made in an exceedingly limited quantity, and distinguished by its distinctive double hooded lugs seamlessly integrated into a round case. The present lot showcases a pink gold case complemented by a pink two-tone sector dial. Adding to its rarity, this model features a unique 45-minute counter, deviating from the conventional 30-minute design. Scholars estimate a production of merely six examples in yellow gold and twelve in pink gold.
