The Chronomètre Royal, a highly regarded lineage within Vacheron Constantin's production, represents the epitome of quality craftsmanship. First introduced in 1907, brands would manufacture chronometers solely for competition purposes but Vacheron Constantin decided to provide clients with the same exceptional quality for everyday wear.
In 1953, the Chronomètre Royal was reintroduced as a wristwatch, showcasing the cal. P1008/BS which was considered among the finest watches in terms of movement and design. Though the calibres were replaced by the automatic cal. 1072 in 1962, the Chronomètre Royal made a comeback in 2007 for its 100th anniversary. Additionally, the present watch is fitted with an exceptionally rare integrated bracelet.
