IVORY, GEM SET AND ENAMEL BROOCH, MASRIERA Y CARRERA, 1920S

Of zoomorphic design, depicting the frontal profile of a maiden, set between a pair of dragonfly wings, the face composed of carved ivory, the wings applied with polychrome plique-à-jour enamel, highlighted with single-cut diamonds, the body additionally set with triangular rubies, suspending a bouton-shaped pearl, signed Masriera y Carreras.
