Description
Two Arita fan-shaped dishes
Edo period, 18th century
in the form of uchiwa, each with a central bamboo strut, decorated in iron red, green, black enamels and gilt, underglaze blue , gilt rim, Fuku mark to the base, one with four roundels of peonies, wild pinks, iris and plum blossom, the rim with scrollwork, the other with plum, pine and bamboo (shochikubai)
