Beginning in 1992, Montblanc has dedicated a limited edition series of writing instruments to great writers of literature called the "Writers Edition". For over two and a half decades, each year the firm pays tribute to a writer that has influenced our society with their works. Each piece within the set is inspired by the authors themselves.
The present set made to commemorate Jonathan Swift, a British-Irish satirist who became widely recognized for his novel "Gulliver's Trail". Published in 1726, Gulliver's Trail is still one of the most widely-read classics of world literature. The limited edition set is accompanied by its original presentation box, outer packaging and Jonathan Swift instruction manual booklet.
