A PAIR OF PARCEL-GILT SILVER TORAH FINIALS, PROBABLY EAST EUROPEAN OR HOLY LAND (SAFED), 19TH CENTURY
Hexagonal interrupted by pillars and with crown and unusual acorn finials above architectural section hung with bells, cast, chased, applied and engraved with religious images, lamp, priestly hands, shofar and horn, Torah breastplate, Decalogue, musical instruments, each with appropriate Hebrew inscription, engraved with Regence strapwork on matting, apparently unmarked, black ink inventory no. 4226
