4to (206 x 150mm.), 358 leaves, aa-bb8 cc10 a-z [et] [con] [rum] A-O8 P12, double column, 54 lines plus headline, gothic type, woodcut initials, woodcut printer's device on final leaf, contemporary Venetian tooled brown morocco over pasteboard with a later spine covering of calf with a manuscript paper label, red edges, author's name on foredge, stubs from four pairs of ties, some deckle edges, slight staining at end, some wormholes in binding and adjacent leaves


Richard of Middleton (c. 1249-c. 1308), an English or French Franciscan theologian, composed his commentary on Peter Lombard between 1285 and 1295. It was first printed in around 1474.
