This exceptionally rare stone lithography poster has only surfaced a couple of times. Horror and sci-fi are the most popular genres for collecting, and early Universal Pictures horror pieces are the most prized.

This 1933 Universal Pictures science fiction horror film was directed by James Whale, and is based on the book of the same name by H. G. Wells. The cast includes Claude Rains, Gloria Stuart and William Harrigan. Dr. Jack Griffin (Claude Rains) establishes a way of becoming invisible. Wrapped in bandages and wearing sunglasses, Dr. Jack Griffin first performs harmless pranks, which later as he comes insane, turn to murder.
