Two Similar Scroll-Carved Fan-Back Windsor Side Chairs

Circa 1785
One by Joseph Henzey (1743–1796) and branded I HENZEY and with a label inscribed Hensey Philada on underside of seat. The other inscribed in pencil on underside of seat Parlor chair of my great-grandmother Ann Saks Atkinson about 150 years old / R.R. Hough 1885.
