Another bronze version of this composition, signed 'G. Varlede, Naples', is in the collection of the National Trust at Wallington, Northumberland (inv. no. 583166). The ancient marble, now identified as Alcibiades and hetaerae, was in the Farnese Collection before being transferred to the Museo Archeologico in Naples in 1870.
