the surfaces enamelled in translucent vivid blue over wavy starburst engine turning, the lid centred with a rose-cut diamond, struck inside with K.Fabergé in Cyrillic under the Imperial warrant, 84 standard, scratched inventory number 27970
diameter 5cm, 1⅞in.
Acquired by the grandfather of the present owner in Russia or Paris during the 1920s.
