This printed sheet likely comes from a past exhibition of a paper stack by Felix Gonzalez-Torres. This particular paper stack was first exhibited at the Printed Matter Bookshop at Dia, New York, in 1993. The conceptual artwork consists of a stack of printed paper from which visitors can choose to help themselves to the individual printed sheets. The artwork has been re-installed numerous times since 1993 and the sheets are reprinted for each exhibition of the work.
